This book is a HP Certification exam guide, covering almost all HP-UX system and network management concepts. The main contents include: UNIX concepts, user commands and shell programming, HP-UX system administration, computer network concepts and HP-UX network administration tasks. The book covers all HP-UX system and network management concepts. This book is divided into three parts. Part 1 Chapter 11 by the first form, covering the conventional UNIX concepts, user commands and shell programming. Part II Chapter 25 by the 12 form, introduced the HP-UX system administration. Part III of Chapter 36 by the 26 form, and focus on the concept of computer networks and the HP-UX network administration tasks. This book is divided into three parts is based on HP-UX certification exam requirements. This book is very logical way for a UNIX system administrators material. The end of each chapter review questions to check your chapter in the understanding of the material provided. I will use the command line and the System Manager (SAM) to explain each system and network management tasks. Most experienced users prefer to use the command line interface to perform many tasks, which for the certification exam through the HP-UX is also very important.

The organization form of the book from easy to difficult, from simple to complex. In each chapter also apply the same level. In order to facilitate understanding of concepts, each chapter provides a map, tables, and examples and so on.
